While Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater have yet to go Instagram official since first shocking the internet with their relationship back in July, the singer just made a subtle reference to their romance in the most festive way possible.
On Thursday, Grande shared a roundup of photos with her 380 million Instagram followers that detailed everything from winter-approved OOTDs to Facetime hangouts with her family. But while the carousel contained no shortage of aww-worthy moments, the most notable slide included a shoutout to her beau. In the post’s seventh slide, Ariana shared a snap that saw a Spam can ornament hanging on a Christmas tree made out of green garland, which seemingly referenced Slater’s current role in the Broadway revival of the 2005 musical, Spamalot.
This isn’t the first time that the A-lister has supported her boyfriend’s stint in the show. Just last month, Grande was seen attending the first preview performance of the revival at the St. James Theatre in New York City. During the outing, she sported an oversized brown leather jacket and white lace gloves while cheering for Slater, who plays the duel role of The Historian/Prince Herbert, during the show’s curtain call.
Grande and Slater first met on the set of their upcoming film adaptation of the musical Wicked in late 2022, but they didn’t make their romance official until earlier this summer. Although the pair have yet to comment on their relationship publicly, they’ve been spotted out on multiple dates, including a trip to Disneyland, throughout much of 2023.
