Beyoncé may have just completed her last stop on the Renaissance World Tour, but the concert series is far from finished. Following her final performance at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City on Sunday night, the singer announced that her record-breaking tour will soon be coming to a theater near you.
Releasing a trailer for the project — which is titled Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé and debuts on Dec. 1 — on Instagram, Beyoncé wrote in her caption: "Be careful what you ask for, ‘cause I just might comply." In the two-minute teaser, the Grammy winner can be seen behind the scenes, sharing sweet mommy moments with her three children — Blue Ivy, 11, and 6-year-old twins Rumi and Sir. One shot showed Bey stretching in sweats with Blue during rehearsals, while others captured her cuddling and kissing her two younger children.
There was also plenty of on-stage footage included in the trailer that gave a glimpse at Bey's over-the-top concert wardrobe, as well as a peek of her husband Jay-Z at one of the shows. "When I am performing, I am nothing but free," Beyoncé can be heard saying in a voice-over while sitting in the makeup chair.
"The goal for this tour was to create a place where everyone is free and no one is judged," she added, as the camera panned to show the diverse number of fans in the audience. "At any point, they could close their eyes and be right back there and take it with them."
As the trailer comes to an end, Bey is asked, "What do you think about this tour?" She replied back, "I feel liberated. I have transitioned into a new animal."
