Blake Lively Channeled Serena van der Woodsen in a Plunging Pastel Outfit for a Night on the Town

You don't need a fashion degree to figure out that Blake Lively is the moment (ahem, her sparkly Michael Kors jumpsuit is everything). In fact, she's been the "moment" since her Gossip Girl character Serena van der Woodsen first graced our screens back in 2007. The actress continues to be our style inspiration, even when she's just stepping out in her New York City neighborhood to run errands. And although it's hard to even hold a candle to Blake's personal style (which, by the way, she's achieved sans a stylist), her husband Ryan Reynolds has kept up with her over the years in countless coordinating date-night looks.

Their most recent date-night shenanigans included a star-studded guest list and matching pastel color palettes for the A-list couple. The two were spotted on Monday night meeting up with some of their famous friends for dinner (Taylor Swift, Cara Delevingne, Gigi Hadid, Zoë Kravitz, Channing Tatum — any of those names ringing a bell?). Blake arrived in a Serena-approved look that included a cotton-candy pink and blue minidress with yellow and black accents, which she layered under a matching baby-blue tweed jacket that she wore buttoned up top to reveal the rest of the outfit. She accessorized with a mini circular crossbody bag, a layered necklace, a collection of statement rings, and pink strappy heeled sandals. Her famous blonde hair was styled in long beach waves and a side part.

Reynolds went slightly more casual in a pink long-sleeve polo shirt with a graphic depiction of a cowboy and a hen. He styled the top with black trousers and white sneakers and he added a couple beaded bracelets and a watch to complete the look.

There's no way to know the meaning behind the A-lister dinner. Perhaps it was just a few friends catching up or maybe it was a meeting of the minds to plan world domination. Regardless of the occasion, it was both fabulous and fashionable (Zoë's satin maxiskirt! Taylor's ruffled mini! Cara's matching set!).

We last saw the Hollywood It couple last week when they braved the New York City heatwave for a stroll. Lively wore a white short-sleeve button-up with a maroon print which she styled with denim cutoffs and chunky sandals. Reynolds wore another pink shirt and rolled khaki trousers paired with his go-to white sneakers.
