Cardi B Made Her Runway Debut in a Colossal Fuzzy Cobalt Coat at Balenciaga

If the palm tree-lined street hosting Balenciaga's 2024 pre-fall runway show in Los Angeles's Hancock Park wasn't already shut down for the occasion, Cardi B would have closed it with her supermodel strut alone. 

On Saturday, the rapper made her runway debut during the outdoor fashion extravaganza while modeling a larger-than-life faux-fur coat in a bright cobalt blue shade. Slung slightly off her shoulders, Cardi showed off a diamond chain-link logo necklace, which was made in collaboration with jeweler Jacob & Co., and wore a black bodysuit with a pair of the brand's signature stiletto Knife boots underneath. Diamond earrings and a sparkly ring that spanned the length of her knuckles rounded out her outfit.  

Cardi also sported a dramatic new beauty look down the catwalk, which included ultra-skinny brows, a red glossy lip with black liner, and feathery long lashes. Her long brunette hair, meanwhile, was slicked back into a sleek middle-parted ponytail with waves that almost hit the floor from behind. 

Cheering on Cardi from the front row was Kim Kardashian, who shared a video of her traipsing down the runway on Instagram, as well as other stars — including Kim's younger sister, Kendall Jenner, Nicole Kidman, Salma Hayek, Eva Longoria, and Tracee Ellis Ross.

The entire fashion show was an ode to LA street style with models wearing tracksuits accessorized with exposed thongs and coffee cups, and Kim carrying an Erewhon x Balenciaga-branded grocery bag.
