No matter what trends get pushed out on TikTok and the Kardashians, you can trust that Ashley Olsen is sticking to her favorite fashion formula: all-black everything; loose, relaxed silhouettes; a huge bag (sometimes a machete); and bold, statement-making sunglasses. Ovary cutouts come and go, but dressing like an Olsen twin is something that seems to transcend runway shows and headline-making gimmicks. Today, Olsen skipped out on her all-black, opting instead to wear all white, though her signatures were still very much present and accounted for.
Photographers captured Olsen's white outfit as she was out for a walk in New York City. She left her black at home and wore an oversized white button-up and straight-leg white pants along with a big black bag (of course) and chunky, lug-sole black boots. Her hair was in relaxed waves and she had reddish-brown tinted sunglasses to keep the sunshine at bay. It wasn't goth granny, but it still managed to have all the touchstones of an Olsen outfit.
Last week, when Olsen made her red carpet debut with her beau Louis Eisner, she was clad in her usual all-black. The two attended the YES 20th Anniversary Celebration in Beverly Hills and she hit the carpet in a floor-grazing black dress with a high neck and kept her coat slung over her shoulders. It was the first time that Olsen walked a red carpet in two years, E! News adds, noting that the 2019 CFDA Awards was the last marquee event that she attended — and the last time that she walked a carpet alongside her twin sister, Mary-Kate.
