Ben Affleck's Mom Joined Him and Jennifer Lopez on Their Latest Date

Ben Affleck's mom has officially entered the Bennifer chat. On Friday, the actor's mother Christine joined her son and his new old girlfriend Jennifer Lopez for their date night at the theatre.

In photos obtained by TMZ, Ben and Jen were spotted outside Pantages Theatre in Hollywood on their way to see Hamilton with their children — Affleck's daughters, Violet and Seraphina, and J.Lo's twins, Max and Emme — and the Gone Girl star's mom. Affleck's 9-year-old son, Samuel, was not pictured.

For the outing, Lopez kept her outfit rather low-key, wearing a tiered ruffle dress in a floral pattern underneath a suede green blazer. She accessorized with pink velour platform heels and a matching Coach bag. Ben, for his part, wore khakis and paired his navy blue blazer over a purple dress shirt.

Ben's mom's reintroduction to Jen almost 20 years later comes after the actor and J.Lo's mother, Guadalupe Rodríguez, hung out together (sans Lopez) in Las Vegas earlier this summer. And while we don't know how Christine feels about Bennifer 2.0, we do know that Guadalupe is thrilled for the couple's second chance at love. "In the past, Jennifer's mom and Ben were very close. Guadalupe loved Ben. She was sad when they couldn't work things out years ago," a source previously told the People, adding: "She is thrilled that they are back together now."

They continued, "Jennifer is very close with her mom. It's very important to her that the person she is with gets along with her mom."
