Dakota Johnson Wore a Silk Dress with a Nearly Butt-Baring Slit

From sheer Gucci corsets to blazers and pinstripe trousers, Dakota Johnson has been traipsing all over New York City to promote her new movie The Lost Daughter in the chicest of outfits — each look different than the next. And her latest one didn't disappoint.

On Thursday, The Fifty Shades of Grey star wore a sophisticated champagne-colored silk dress with a high neckline and bell sleeves. Perhaps the most notable feature of the dress, though, was the extremely high, almost butt-baring side slit.

The actress accessorized with nude suede pointed-toed pumps, a black face mask, and an embroidered Gucci bag that she carried under her arm. Her dark tresses — save her signature fringe — were pulled back in a messy bun.

The Gucci ambassador always does the most with her red carpet and street style, pouring herself fully into every look. And last year, the actress told Marie Claire that she takes the same approach with her work. "When I work, I'm constantly thinking about the job," she told the publication. "It takes up so much of my brain. Not all of my projects are only good messages, but all of them have a little bit of something that makes me feel like it's an okay thing to pour my heart into."
