While she's been staying out of the public eye as she's handling Stiff-Person Syndrome, Celine Dion made a rare appearance at an ice hockey game in her adopted home of Las Vegas. The superstar singer, who was diagnosed with the rare neurological disorder in December 2022, attended the Vegas Golden Knights and Montreal Canadiens game on Oct. 30 with her sons, Réne-Charles, Nelson, and Eddy. The Golden Knights ended up coming out on top in a 3-2 win.

It was unclear which team Dion was cheering on, as she was born near Montreal and famously lives and performed in Vegas (her first residency dates way back in 2003), but coach Martin St. Louis of Montreal shared a pair of snapshots on Instagram that showed the Grammy winner wearing an ivory puffer vest and oatmeal-colored sweater.

"It's such an honor to meet you," Dion told St. Louis, via a translation from French. "It was an incredible night." E! adds that Dion was heard giving some tips to the athletes, saying, "Just stay healthy, strong ... do what you do best."

Earlier this year, Dion had to cancel her Courage World Tour to focus on recovery and her health.

"I'm so sorry to disappoint all of you once again," she wrote in a message posted to her Instagram page in May. "I'm working really hard to build back my strength, but touring can be very difficult even when you're 100%."

"It's not fair to you to keep postponing the shows, and even though it breaks my heart, it's best that we cancel everything now until I'm really ready to be back on stage again," she added. "I want you all to know, I'm not giving up and I can't wait to see you again!"
