This weekend, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend celebrated their 10-year wedding anniversary with a vow renewal in the same place they originally got married (swoon!). And rather than a traditional white gown, the cookbook author decided to do things a little differently, opting for an icy blue minidress instead.
Sharing a slideshow of snapshots from before the ceremony, Teigen posed in her hotel room in Lake Como, Italy, wearing a silver-blue embroidered dress with sparkly beaded straps and a flared-out hem by designer Georges Hobeika. She accessorized the micro minidress with diamond drop earrings and coordinating strappy blue heels. Her shoulder-length brunette hair, which was worn down with a sweeping side part, was just as voluminous as her dress.
"we come to this place for magic!!!" Chrissy wrote in the caption, referencing Nicole Kidman's viral AMC Theatres commercial. "John did not get my amc theater caption," she added in the comments section, adding: "So I want to change it because now I sound weird."
Chrissy and John first met in 2006 on the set of his "Stereo" music video, but they didn't immediately start dating. They made things red carpet official at the 2008 Grammy Awards, before getting engaged three years later. In September 2013, the two were married at the courthouse in New York City days ahead of their Lake Como nuptials, where Teigen wore multiple Vera Wang gowns and Legend serenaded her with his song "All of Me."
The couple have now been married for 10 years and share four children together — Luna, 7, Miles, 5, and babies Esti and Wren.
