I remember getting my first pair of Crocs like it was yesterday. It was the fall of 2006, and I was getting dressed for school. My mom walked into my room with a brand new pair of baby blue Crocs. I paired them with white tube socks, khaki pants, and a white button-up. They didn’t match, but I loved how comfy they were and that I could customize them with bows and charms.

Seventeen years later, my love for the brand has only continued to grow. I currently own a pair of Crocs platform slides, a snake print pair of the traditional clogs, and, as of Christmas, the Classic Lined Platform Clogs. After wearing them every day for the last two weeks, I officially need them in every color. And it’s just my luck; they’re on sale for $50 at Amazon.

The faux fur-lined clogs come in five colors: blue, beige, white, black, and dark red, and sizes 4 through 11. They feature a one-and-a-half-inch platform, a sling-back strap for added security, a roomy fit that can be worn with socks, and holes at the top of the shoes for customization with Crocs Jibbitz shoe charms.

These lined platform shoes have been great as both lounge and errand-running shoes. I can slip them on and go, fuss-free. Call me lazy, but when I get up in the morning to walk my dog, I just don’t have the capacity to lace up a pair of sneakers or even put on socks, for that matter. So it’s nice that I can slip these on without socks and my feet stay warm.

The faux fur is super soft and non-irritating on the skin, and unlike other lined shoes, you won’t need to size up to compensate for the space the fur takes up. Like all Crocs styles, these are also super easy to wipe down, so they’re always clean. Plus, the more you wear them, the better adapted they come to the shape of your feet. The strap doesn't dig into my ankle, and I like that you can style it off the ankle so it slips on like a clog, but when needed, you can put the strap down (also known as putting it in “sports mode” amongst Crocs fans) if you need extra security.

My final thoughts are that despite having a platform, the shoes are lightweight and easy to walk in. The material is also thick and durable and feels like it’ll hold up just as well, if not longer, than some of my other Crocs styles.
