And no pants, obviously.

This week, Demi Moore has been out and about promoting FX's Feud: Capote vs. the Swans in New York City in statement-making style, wearing everything from white go-go boots with a leather skirt to an actual swan dress. And on Wednesday, the actress stepped out in what might our favorite look of the press tour so far.

While making an appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, Demi gave the blazer dress an after-dark twist. For the occasion, she wore an oversized black double-breasted suit jacket that featured see-through lace cutouts down the sides with no shirt underneath and sheer stockings in place of pants. She paired the sexy suiting with black pointy toe heels with sparkly slingback detailing, diamond jewelry, and, of course, her greatest accessory of all: her tiny dog, Pilaf.

As for glam, Moore styled her signature long brunette hair pin straight with a middle part, and complemented her glowing complexion with pink lipgloss and a generous swirl of blush on each cheek.

Earlier that same day, Demi spoke about her role as Ann Woodward in Feud — which also stars Molly Ringwald, Calista Flockhart, Naomi Watts, and Chloë Sevigny who portray other Upper East Side socialites, known as "the swans" — while sitting down with Good Morning America

"I think there's great responsibility when you're stepping in to play a real person," Demi explained of her character, who was shunned from society after shooting her husband. "And even though Capote really goes into Truman's perception, it was really important for me to kind of honor the truth as much as possible and all the research I did - the question of did she murder her husband or was it an accident?"

She continued, "From my research, it was accident. And I think that, after Ann lived a life that was a lot of rejection - the family rejected her that she married into...she never lived up to anybody's standards. She just never fit that social stratosphere."
