While summer vacations are in the rearview for most of the world, Demi Moore is giving everyone a look back at one of her getaways — serving up both vacation and bikini inspo in the process. The superstar actress, known for her Instagram posts as much as her body of work on the screen these days, shared a carousel of snapshots that showed a recent getaway to the American Southwest.
In the images, Moore posed under a waterfall in a tiny black bikini with a huge smile on her face. In others, she posed alongside friends while showing off the stunning rock formations and canyons of Arizona and the Colorado River. In the caption, Moore called out her friends and the guides who took her pals along the river for what seemed like the trip of a lifetime for the star.
"Sharing a few precious moments from my recent adventure with @tilliewaltonofficial and @nash2o on #TilliesRiverTrip. Back in September, I had the opportunity to journey through the Grand Canyon on the Colorado River alongside so many beautiful souls," she wrote alongside the gallery. "We laughed, cried, and formed lifelong bonds that I will hold close to my heart forever."
She continued, saying that she was awestruck by the beauty of the canyon and the Colorado River, also mentioning that the trip was a chance for her to connect with her friends and nature all at once.
"I will never truly be able to describe the many ways that this recent nature immersion has impacted me. Standing on the banks of the Colorado River as we all took in its magnificence and beauty, I was reminded of the urgent need to preserve and protect this vital lifeline," she finished. "Thank you Tillie for bringing us all together and showing us that we can advocate on nature’s behalf. Let’s be the change we want to see! @AmericanRivers is a great resource — link in my stories for more ways to get involved."
Moore's vacations and work trips (if you can consider a quick trip to Milan for fashion week "work") are often sprinkled through her Feed along with snaps of her internet-famous dog, Pilaf. Just last month, Moore and Pilaf made appearances at the Versace fashion show and on the streets of the Italian fashion capital. Aside from her social media acumen, Moore has been in the headlines recently for popping up in John Stamos's memoir, If You Would Have Told Me. Stamos called Moore "a firecracker with a gravelly voice and a big laugh" who was "infinitely more sophisticated and worldly" than he was. They worked together on General Hospital between 1982 and 1984.
"We both look at each other, wondering what the other will say," Stamos wrote about fans constantly asking if their characters, Blackie and Jackie, ever hooked up. "Demi pauses to think about it. 'I don't know if we slept together. I think we fooled around though.'"
Stamos finished: "I just smile. Then ask if she remembers back in the day when we all went to see Rick Springfield at the Universal Amphitheater."
