I’m always in a time crunch. I’m either sprinting to catch the train, rushing to grab my morning coffee, or quickly making a midday salad. Blame it on NYC or my over-packed schedule, but I don’t have time for extras, only the necessities. So, I’ve learned to think strategically about my time, habits, and the products I use. One product I may have to add to my streamlined skincare collection is the multi-tasking Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow AHA Night Treatment — and it’s one of Drew Barrymore’s go-to gifting picks.

ICYMI, Drew Barrymore has her own publication, Drew Magazine, and recently released The Big Warm Hug Issue. Inside the festive pages, Barrymore shares her favorite holiday food, home, travel tips, and over 100 hand-picked gifts for your family and friends. And guess what was listed as one of her top 10 gifts? The Glow Recipe AHA Night Treatment.

The night treatment, inspired by Glow Recipe’s original Glow Sleeping Mask, is labeled an “incredible” solution for “uneven” and “textured” skin, according to reviews. It exfoliates, hydrates, brightens, and firms your skin while you sleep, making it “a serum, face mask, and a moisturizer all in one,” according to another shopper. “I wake up with my skin feeling so fresh, 20 times softer, and glowy AF,” which is all thanks to the product’s ingredients.

Glow Recipe’s overnight treatment is made up of hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, quinoa peptide, and watermelon enzymes to deliver a punch of moisture and rejuvenation to the skin. But the included alpha hydroxy acid, or AHA for short, really brings the magic. Dr. Melanie Palm, a California-based, board-certified dermatologist at Art of Skin MD, previously told InStyle that AHAs remove dead skin cells, making way for “new skin cell generation.” Dr. Palm continued to say that AHAs can help with skin texture, tone, hyperpigmentation, fine lines, and even acne. In short, AHAs help to reset the skin. In the recent issue of Drew Magazine, Barrymore said she prefers to pronounce the ingredient name as “a ha,” because it “makes it seem like [her] skin is about to get a lightbulb moment.”

Speaking of breakouts, shoppers have even claimed that the multitasking treatment “completely cleared” their acne, and called it the “best choice of [their] life” (and that’s no small feat). To use, and hopefully clear your own acne (fingers crossed), apply a large amount as the final step of your PM skincare routine. Pat the product in and wash your face as usual in the morning. Glow Recipe recommends using the treatment two to three times a week, as needed. My favorite part is the amount of time it saves: You can eliminate the use of extra serums and moisturizers on the days you use the Glow Recipe mask.

To be like Barrymore and gift the ‘It’ product of the season (whether for yourself or a special someone), order the product sooner rather than later. This way, you can ensure it comes in time for the holidays.
