While some fall fashion trends call for adding freshly trending pieces to your cold-weather wardrobe, others, like jewelry trends, can be recreated with pieces you already own. This year, the Ready-to-Wear and Haute Couture runways delivered an exciting mix of ways to style earrings, necklaces, and more, from strikingly minimal to over-the-top.

While designers like Weinsanto and Adeam adorned their collections with trendy pieces like body chains and ear cuffs, others opted to draw inspiration from the archives. Saint Laurent, Balmain, and Chanel delivered vintage vibes through bangles and studs. Street style and punk aesthetics were applied to pearls and chains, playfully butting up against styling expectations. It also appears that more is merrier and imperfection is the new polish for fall, thanks to a bevy of mismatched earrings and over-the-top layering.

Ahead, we’ve rounded up the best of the 17 best fall jewelry trends you can start emulating ASAP.

Asymmetry was a major jewelry trend on this year's Fall/Winter runways, especially when it came to earrings. Designers like Zimmermann and Fendi mixed studs with dangling earrings, while others paired similar silhouettes.

Our favorite approach? Wearing a complete pair of earrings on one ear and a contrasting statement earring on the other, as seen on the models in the Gucci show.

The reign of rosettes continues, albeit with some alterations. The rosette choker necklaces that took over this year's red carpets were given a hyperrealistic makeup at Elie Saab, while David Koma and Sportmax kept this spring's minimal silhouette, but swapped fabric roses for glossy orchids. In the Giorgio Armani Privé Haute Couture Fall/Winter show, rosettes appeared as dangling drop and statement stud earrings.

Why wear one necklace when you can wear every necklace you own at the same time? Designers at fall fashion shows the world over blended different necklace styles to create totally unique works of jewelry art. When recreating this jewelry trend at home, don't be afraid to play with very different lengths and choose a plunging V-neck or turtleneck to avoid visual overcrowding.

This year, Bibhu Mohapatra and Versace decided that dropping temperatures shouldn't keep you from showing off your jewelry. Their models wore shiny resin cuff bracelets and over-the-top costume jewelry rings over gloves on the runway. This trend was also spotted at Saint Laurent and Luisa Spagnoli, who incorporated bangles worn over chunky knits into the mix.

Jewelry designer and Rellery founder Sally Rong predicted this jewelry trend back in the spring. To achieve the multi-dimensional effect seen on the earrings at Gucci and Missoni, take Rong's advice and mix metals with whimsy. "If you're a silver person, start slowly getting into the gold, and just play," she previously shared with InStyle.

Props to Kaia Gerber and every other model who wore huge chandelier earrings in the Fall/Winter runway shows. Our earlobes ache just looking at the size and spectacle of these statement jewels. That said, we're crossing our fingers that designers will deliver lightweight or clip-on versions of these earrings so we can get the bling with the strain.

We love a little (or a lot) of sparkle, but the witchy vibes of rough-cut crystals are equally appealing. From the polished quartz earrings seen at Zimmermann to De Pesta's beaded crystal necklaces, the vibe was "chakra-cleansing but make it fashion."
