Gwyneth Paltrow and Dakota Johnson Just Twinned on Instagram

It's not often that you can recreate an outfit that both Dakota Johnson and Gwyneth Paltrow wore — but today's the day. The duo, who are linked by Chris Martin (he's Paltrow's ex and the father of her kiddos and also happens to be dating Johnson), held hands and wore matching jackets and jeans in a post on Paltrow's Instagram Stories today. And surprisingly, there's no red carpet glam, Gucci gowns, or throwback Oscar fashion happening. Instead, Paltrow shared a snap of the duo wearing an outfit that just about anyone can recreate when the temps drop.

Johnson wore jeans with an olive parka and a black baseball cap while Paltrow had wide-leg denim in her version of the 'fit and topped off the look with a beanie. She wore a similar deep green jacket as they posed on an empty residential street. Both Johnson and Paltrow wore sneakers with their laid-back ensembles.

Paltrow has opened up about her relationship with Johnson, acknowledging that from the outside, it could "seem weird because it's sort of unconventional." There's no negativity between the two, with Johnson often joining Paltrow, her current husband Brad Falchuk, and Martin on holidays with the kids, 19-year-old Apple and 17-year-old Moses.

"I always start to think of the ampersand sign — what else can you bring in, instead of being resistant to or being made insecure by?" Gwyneth explained to Harper's Bazaar in 2020. "There's so much juice in leaning into something like that."

She touched on it again two years later, saying that things worked out with Martin and she wishes him well with his next romantic partner.

"I know my ex-husband was meant to be the father of my children and I know my current husband is meant to be the person I grow very old with," Gwyneth wrote in an essay for British Vogue published in 2022. "Conscious uncoupling lets us recognize those two different loves can coexist and nourish each other. Conscious uncoupling/separation/divorce, whatever you want to call it, has now permeated the break-up culture."
