At last night's InStyle celebration, Isabella Rossellini's leopard look demanded attention. The actress and Lancôme ambassadress stunned in a floor-sweeping leopard duster paired with matching mules — and as the perfect final touch, she sported a fierce leopard manicure.
Throughout the event, which InStyle hosted to announce Joy Sunday as the newest Lancôme global ambassador, Rossellini showed off her manicure with pride. The nail design, done by manicurist Ami Vega, featured two leopard print nails per hand alongside a solid bright red to match Rossellini's gorgeous red Lancôme lipstick. The addition of red anchored the manicure and tied her whole look together.
And according to Vega, this was the actress's first time ever wearing nail art. This mono-print ensemble is a testament to the power (and fun!) of maximalist, more-is-more beauty looks. Plus, it shows how even the smallest detail can take a look from lovely to mesmerizing.
Rossellini served as Lancôme's first face in 1983, a role she held for 14 years, until she was brought back on in 2016 as an ambassador. "Coming back to Lancôme was one of the happiest moments of my life," Rossellini previously told InStyle.
"Lancôme wants to send out a message of inclusiveness, of celebrating all women no matter what age. It’s a message of empowerment that I embrace — I am so lucky to symbolize it."
