Applying to colleges is a notoriously stressful feat, but Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck's eldest daughter Violet is taking the challenge in stride. During a recent appearance on Live with Kelly and Mark, Garner revealed her daughter is "in the middle of" the college search, though she's handling the stress with grace.
"The excitement and the stress go hand-in-hand, but she's handling it like a champ and she's totally in charge," Garner gushed. "She's a self-starter."
"I'm proud of her no matter what," Garner said of Violet, who will hit a major milestone on Dec. 1. "In three days my eldest is turning 18," she exclaimed. "Can you guys believe that?!"
Garner and Affleck also share daughter Seraphina and son Samuel, who have birthdays coming up, as well. Garner revealed that the next few months are "birthday season" in their household. "We had a time of year," she joked.
Garner is currently promoting her new Netflix film The Family Switch, which is available to stream on Nov. 30. According to the streaming platform, the flick follows two parents (Garner and Ed Helms) who swap bodies with their teenagers during a "rare cosmic event."
In a separate interview with Good Morning America, Garner recalled watching the new movie with her son in his class. She admitted Samuel was "mortified" to watch his mom become a teenager again, though it ended up being "so fun."
"It ended up being great," she said. "At first he looked at me and he was like, 'Mom, this is so embarrassing.' We made it through."
