In light of her high-glam style, Jennifer Lopez takes her casual Fridays very seriously.
Case in point? Yesterday, the singer-slash-actress headed to the recording studio in Los Angeles wearing a baggy denim jumpsuit that included a loose waistband, two front pockets, frayed short sleeves, and extra-long pants that puddled around the soles of her khaki Timberland boots. Her choice in footwear may have seemed laidback, but not completely unexpected for J.Lo — she practically made the work boot an iconic staple of her wardrobe in the early 2000s during her "Jenny From the Block" era, pairing them with everything from tracksuits to fur coats.
Lopez accessorized with more of her style signatures — including gold-rimmed aviator sunglasses with transparent lenses and oversized hoops — as well as a gold watch and a camel-colored Birkin bag that perfectly matched the shade of her boots. Her light brown hair was scraped back into a messy top knot with face-framing fringe, and she finished off her glam with a nude lip and an ultra-bronzy glow.
While her going-into-the-weekend outfit was super casual, the rest of her weekday wardrobe was not. J.Lo initially kicked the week off in a white billowy shirt dress teamed with what might've been her highest heels yet: a pair of towering gold platform sandals that provided a major boost in elevation. And after that, she wore another set of ankle-breaking shoes with a copper-colored miniskirt and a matching cropped jacket.
