It's pretty obvious that Julia Fox is not afraid to take risks with fashion (see: shipwreck gown andleather cut-out pants with a tail). And as of late, she's proven that she's equally unafraid to experiment with her beauty. New York Fashion Week has become the actress's playground, so it's only fitting that she closed it out with a drastic look: fire-engine red hair.
Fox attended the Willy Chavarria Fall 2023 show at the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum in Manhattan on Wednesday in a black totally sheer jersey (with nothing underneath) emblazoned with the word "Catechism" and matching baggy gauchos featuring white diagonal stripes and "sports" inscribed across the leg. Her freshly-colored hair matched the jersey's cross detailing, as well as her eyebrows and eye makeup. She parted her crimson down the middle and finished off her glam with a pink lip.
Fox has sat front row at a variety of shows over last week including LaQuan Smith, Dion Lee, and Elena Velez, each one accompanied by an eye-catching, headline-making outfit. The fashion muse even walked in the Luis De Javier show in a head-to-toe denim gown with giant horns protruding from the bodice. She shared the special moment on Instagram with a gallery of photos from the runway.
"I am beyond honored to be part of this MAJOR moment in fashion history," she wrote. "@luisdejavier ever since we first met I knew u were destined for greatness i love you thank you for inspiring me💋💋💋 also this is the same synagogue that Alexander McQueen had his debut show in and trust me it’s no coincidence 🌙✨"
