Kim Kardashian Says She and Kourtney Have Different Parenting Styles

It's no secret that Kim Kardashian and her older sister Kourtney disagree on some things. There's been contention between the two sisters for years — not to mention, they recently had a blow out fight over the phone that aired during the current season of The Kardashians. So, it shouldn't come as a surprise that the two have different parenting styles, though Kim still looks to her big sis for advice.

During this week's episode of the Hulu series, the sisters spoke about parenting in a joint confessional, during which Kourtney said she's a calm parent while Kim admitted to being a "frazzled" mom.

"I think I have a more gentle approach with my kids," Kourtney said. "I find, with my kids, that coming from a more loving approach works best."

Kim then chimed in saying she likes a bit of "tough love," and sometimes she even lets a few curse words slip in the heat of the moment.

"And I feel that way, but … with a little bit of tough love in there too and a little bit of frazzled … 'Shit, what the fuck is going on? Get the fuck over here' like energy also,'" she said. "It's like, 'Go to bed.' I'd be like, 'It's 10 o'clock and you're still up? Go to bed!' Like you're driving me crazy, you know, so I definitely think we're different like in that way. I get frazzled."

During the interview, a producer asks the two who is more like their mom Kris Jenner, to which they agree: it's Kim. "For sure. I mean, she gets worked up," Kim explained. "Like when she gets frazzled where she's just like, 'Get over here Kimberly.'" Kourtney chimed in, saying Kris has her "teeth clenched."

Elsewhere in the episode, Kim and Kourtney have a candid conversation about the stresses that come with having kids. Kim reveals that no matter what's going on in their personal relationship, she always looks to Kourtney for parenting advice, saying her big sis is "definitely the one I always go to for my mom advice and I think her and I have like a lot in common when it comes to parenting stuff."

"I think we also have older kids, so we go through more similar things," Kourtney agreed.

"No matter what, like she'd drop anything for us to have parenting advice," Kim added. "I don't care what kind of fight we're in. She knows the kind of shit that I'd be going through, I can understand the kind of shit she'd be going through, and that's how our relationship has always been."
