Adriana Lima on Her Madame Tussauds Wax Figure: "It's Better Than I Expected, For Sure!"

Adriana Lima has been heating things up on the Victoria’s Secret runway for more than a decade. But Monday morning in New York, the 34-year-old model really helped raise the mercury inside the Victoria’s Secret Herald Square location where the beauty was on hand to debut her very own bikini-clad Madame Tussauds wax figure.

So how did Lima react to her life-size doppelganger? “I think it’s so realistic, especially the facial expression, the expression of the eyes, the details of my tattoo, my beauty mark on my chin. It’s unbelievable!” she told InStyle. “It’s different when you see yourself in the mirror then when you see yourself in actual life because you are literally three-dimensional. I didn’t think I looked like this. It’s better than I expected, for sure.”

For the celebratory occasion, the bombshell Angel dressed in a fall-appropriate look, pairing black suede over-the-knee boots with a silky printed shirt, which, she told us, is her favorite. Her newly acquainted statue, however, left little to the imagination. Lima’s wax figure sports the crimson-colored two-piece she sported with enormous matching wings during the 2013 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in New York (below).

“This outfit came in 2013, ‘Parisian nights,’ and it was the opening of the segment and I just connected with this outfit. I love it and I love the wings and red is my color,” she adds. “This is the one that I most connected with and it’s one of my favorite outfits. I’m sorry, I love my outfits from this year’s show, but I would still keep this one. I will not change!”

Yes, the unforgettable number is a racy one, but expect to see Lima top it during this year’s show, which airs Tuesday, Dec. 8, at 10 p.m. ET on CBS.
