Anne Hathaway and husband Adam Shulman have made date night an opportunity to support a cause close to their hearts.

On Thursday, the parents of one, who welcomed their son Jonathan in March, took the night off from baby duty and couldn't have looked more in love while stepping out at the World of Children Awards ceremony at New York City's 583 Park Avenue.

The Academy Award-winning actress glowed in a black short-sleeve dress decorated with prints of outstretched hands in blue and neutral hues at the charity bash, which aims to help children with access to education and health care. Sporting her famous smile, the stunning 33-year-old kept her makeup simple and wore her dark strands down in a classic middle-parted hairstyle.

Hathaway's actor-producer husband matched his love in a dapper navy blue suit and a skinny blue tie and accessorized with a fall-inspired oxblood handkerchief in the pocket.

It's hard to believe that this sweet pair already celebrated their four-year anniversary just last month!
