Bad news to anyone who's heart fluttered because they had the chance to swipe on Ben Affleck. During a new interview with Diane Sawyer on Good Morning America, Affleck explained that he's definitely not using dating apps, even the almost-mythical Raya, which is reportedly where actors and musicians mingle away from normal folk.
"I am not on any websites," Affleck told Sawyer. He also added offered a warning to anyone that happened to match up with anyone pretending to be "Ben Affleck." He's not on Tinder, Grindr, or Bumble, either. He's not entirely against dating apps, however. He said that they work for some people, saying, "I know people who are on them and they have a fun time, but not me."
Affleck went on to say that he's open to starting a new relationship and that he's looking for something deep and meaningful, not a one-night-stand or fling, which is what many dating apps offer, whether it's what they set out to do or not.
"I would love to have a relationship that was deeply meaningful and one to which I could be deeply committed," he said.
Sawyer also asked him about a recent New York Times interview, where he said that his biggest regret is his divorce from Jennifer Garner. When she asked if he'd go back and change anything, he said that there was plenty he'd want to do over, but he knows it's not possible.
"There are things that I would love to go back and change," Affleck said. "I have regrets, I made plenty of mistakes, some big some small. I wish I could go back in time and change all kinds of things, but I can't."
