Blake Lively landed herself on many a best-dressed list at Monday night's gala for her intricate red and gold Versace gown that was so big, she showed up to the event in a party bus, sorority girl-style.
Her after-party look, too, was equally celebrated. Lively let her curly hair down, and turned up in a white button-down shirt, and red and blue plaid skirt, thigh-high boots, and blazer. The best part, though, might just be the bedazzled clutch that reads "Reynolds" with the initials of her husband Ryan and two daughters, so at least they were there with her in spirit.
The morning after, though, her ensemble was far more relatable. After a long night of partying with Hollywood's elite, Lively stepped out in N.Y.C. wearing last night's teased curls, the clear mark of a girl who had plenty of fun the night before. Even more, she popped on a baseball cap (shop similar here), quite possibly to hide those roots—we've all been there!
Further proof of Lively's night-after look can be seen in the fact that she couldn't even be bothered to put on a bra, throwing on a nude slip dress sans undergarments (shop similar here and here). White Adidas sneakers and a Chanel purse completed her relatable look.
But even without putting much effort into her outfit, Lively managed to add in a sweet shoutout to her husband Ryan Reynolds, who missed last night's gala because he's promoting his upcoming film Deadpool 2 in Europe. If you look closely, you'll see that her baseball cap has the logo for Aviation Gin, a company that Reynolds owns.
Including Reynolds in her after-party look and off-duty ensemble? Now that's love.
