Cara Delevingne Told Fans to Stop "Hating" On Ashley Benson Amid G-Eazy Romance Rumors

After her split from Delevingne, Benson was seen kissing G-Eazy.

Cara Delevingne is defending ex Ashley Benson following Benson's rumored romance with rapper G-Eazy.

On Thursday evening, the model shared an Instagram story addressing the rumors, telling fans to stop "hating" on Benson. "It's more important now than ever to spread love, not hate," she wrote. "To everyone hating on @ashleybenson please stop. You don't know the truth, only her and I do and that's exactly how it should be."

Last week, it was reported that Benson and Delevingne had split up in April, after two years of dating. "Cara and Ashley always had their ups and down before but it's over now," a source told People at the time. "Their relationship just ran its course.”

The two had officially made their relationship public in 2019, after a year of rumors that they were dating. In June 2019 at a TrevorLIVE gala in N.Y.C., Delevingne gave Benson a special shoutout, confirming they had been together for about a year by that point.

Earlier this week, Benson was photographed with G-Eazy, devastating Delevingne-Benson 'shippers everywhere. Though neither Benson nor G-Eazy have addressed the rumors, they've been spotted kissing, and a source told People that "it feels like just a fling for now," as Benson is still "getting over a breakup."

Benson, for her part, liked a fan's Instagram post that read, "You can’t say they are dating just because of a like and some comments. Can’t Ashley have friends now? STOP SAYING ASHLEY CHEATED! OR EVEN CARA! They just need friends right now more than ever."
