Christie Brinkley simply does not age. The 62-year-old model stunned as she stepped out in New York City Tuesday, showing off her toned physique in on-trend kick flared Rag & Bone jeans, a yellow-and-blue striped top and a matching yellow knit sweater tied around her chest.
Brinkley kept her long blond hair straight and flowing as she headed to lunch with a smile, topping her look with an oversized blue purse and gray suede peep-toe booties. The stylish Timeless Beauty author, who has made it no secret she's had a thing for a good pair of jeans, told InStyle earlier this year that she "absolutely" grew up with denim in her wardrobe.
"When I was a teenager, I remember the first big blue jean trend was Landlubber jeans and we used to go to the Army-Navy store and get like Army-Navy jeans that look like these Landlubber jeans," Brinkley told us. As for what Landlubber jeans are, the blonde beauty explained, "They were ... high on the waist, those two flat pockets in the front, and then, you know, the flare at the bottom. We wore them kind of like a little bit extra long, so they'd sort of drag around and get worn out on the back heel and look kind of hippie."
While Brinkley's Landlubber's haven't come back around just yet, she's one of the latest stars to rock kick-flare jeans, which Kendall Jenner, Reese Witherspoon, and more have been spotted sporting from coast to coast.
