This Cinderella Dress Just Shut Down the Cannes Red Carpet

Everyone else might as well go home, because the Cannes Film Festival’s red carpet winner has all but been crowned. Indian actress Aishwarya Rai showed up to the premiere of Okja at Cannes on Friday looking like an actual Disney princess.

The 43-year-old channeled her inner Cinderella in an ice blue Michael Cinco couture gown with an off-the-shoulder neckline and intricate leafy detailing on the luscious fabric. But the best part has to be the incredibly dramatic tulle skirt, which flowed out from her waist and must have had serious structure-holding material inside to create this much volume.

Just look at how she had to hold up what must be pounds of tulle in order to move her way around the carpet.

Rai kept the rest of her look simple with a sleek straight blowout and just a few rings on her fingers, letting her epic Cinderella gown take center stage.

And she didn’t even lose a slipper.
