Demi Lovato hasn't been active on social media since posting a lengthy (and since-deleted) statement about her hospitalization for a drug overdose, but that changed Tuesday.
The singer made a surprise return to Instagram in order to encourage her fans to vote, and judging by the flood of heart emojis in her comments right now, people are pretty thrilled about it.
"I am so grateful to be home in time to vote!" Lovato wrote. "One vote can make a difference, so make sure your voice is heard! now go out and #VOTE!!!!"
The photo currently has 2 million likes (and counting), despite only being live for less than an hour.
Lovato has spent the past couple months recovering and entering rehab for treatment, but People reports that over the weekend, Lovato was released.
“She just got back to L.A. a couple days ago,” a source told the outlet. “She seems to be doing well so far.”
Her younger sister Madison De La Garza said much of the same. “She’s working really hard on her sobriety, and we’re all so incredibly proud of her,” she said in a recent interview.
