Since No Doubt frontwoman Gwen Stefani ironically proclaimed to be "Just a Girl" back in 1995, the singer has cemented her powerhouse status in innumerable areas.
Born 46 years ago today, Stefani emerged on the music scene in the early '90s and quickly made a name for herself in all-things fashion, media, and music. After more than a decade performing with No Doubt, Stefani pursued a solo music career in 2004 and won several awards, including one Grammy Award, one World Music Award, one American Music Award, and one Brit Award. Around the same time, in 2003, the singer debuted her L.A.M.B clothing line, which ended up being such a hit that she expanded her collection with the 2005 Harajuku Lovers line.
And, along with her role as a coach on The Voice, let's not forget about Stefani's totally out-there wardrobe and beauty choices that would have most people looking absolutely b-a-n-a-n-a-s (cue the music). But, not Stefani. The celeb keeps on rocking her signature style, while looking even more hip—and fit—with time.
In honor of Stefani's birthday, we are looking back at the star's best hair moments. Because, let's be honest, that girl can rock a platinum—or even bright pink—'do like no one else. See Stefani's transformation through the years here. Happy birthday, Gwen!
