It's Michelle Obama's Birthday! See The First Lady's Finest Looks

We’re wishing Michelle Obama, our fabulous First Lady, a very happy 51st birthday! It’s been a quite a year for Barack’s better half. An alumna of Princeton University and Harvard Law School, Michelle started Reach Higher this past year, an initiative aimed at encouraging young students to seek education past high school.

In October, Michelle hosted a Fashion Education Workshop at The White House for students interested in a career in fashion--focusing on what it takes to succeed in the industry, and the importance of pursuing a higher education. Mrs. Obama also showed support for causes such as Bring Back Our Girls, and took to social media to discuss student loans and healthy school lunches. She even showed off some cool moves–and an appreciation for vegetables–in a viral Vine now known as “Turnip For What?”
