It’s been a busy week for lifelong Friends Courteney Cox and Jennifer Aniston.
Jennifer, 49, and Courteney, 53, attended Chanel’s National Resources Defense Council dinnerin Malibu last weekend, and followed up their red carpet reunion with a mid-week appearance at the American Film Institute’s gala honoring George Clooney.
The duo coordinated in elegant LBDs—Cox in a ruffled one-shoulder Roland Mouret paired with a Vince Camuto clutch, and Aniston in a Christian Lacroix Haute Couture column gown with an asymmetrical neckline (no arm brace in sight).
Cox and Aniston also spoke during the ceremony, delivering a speech about one-time Friends guest star and pal Clooney.
Speculation about a Friends reunion has swirled for some time, and though the general consensus is that it’s unlikely to happen, Aniston sparked a new round of discussion when she told Ellen DeGeneres a reboot was “possible.”
“Anything is a possibility, Ellen. Anything,” she told the talk show host. “George Clooney got married. That’s like, anything can happen.”
Fingers crossed.
