The 7th season of Jerry Seinfeld's hit web series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee went off with a star-spangled bang on Wednesday. The season's first episode featured a very special guest: none other than one of the most powerful people on earth, Barack Obama.

After sharing rides with comedians like Amy Schumer, Stephen Colbert, and Louis C.K. over the course of the show's lifetime, Seinfeld admitted to bending the rules just a little when he decided to interview the president, who, in his words, has "gotten off just enough funny lines to qualify for this show."

The fun begins when Seinfeld rolls up to the White House in a 1963 Corvette Stingray Split Window Coupe and realizes quickly that the Secret Service has no plans to allow POTUS to leave the grounds. The unlikely duo makes the best of the situation, however, and settles on driving around the property in leisurely circles before heading inside.

Very little mention of politics is made during the 20 minute episode, and at one point Obama even agrees with Seinfeld that living at the White House is a bit like Night at the Museum. "So you're looking around and thinking, what the hell is this?" the president jokes.

The best part happens at the end of the show when Obama fulfills a childhood dream by taking his turn behind the wheel of the classic car.

"I know how to drive man. C'mon," he quips to a skeptical Seinfeld.
