Kat Von D really out-Kat Von D'ed herself with this one.
Based on the her pre-wedding gift to guests—a blood red candle with an upside down cross on it, and custom black "En vida y en muerte" lipsticks—it's clear that "goth glam" was the name of the game at her second wedding to Prayers musician Leafar Seyer this week.
Yes, because one wedding isn't enough, the tattoo artist and her musician beau—who are expecting their first child—tied the knot once again while paying homage to all things kooky and spooky.
The artist wore red spindly Majesty Black horns as a head piece along with a statement red Majesty Black gown that was Kat Von D meets Lydia Deetz from Beetlejuice, down to the frill detailing around the collar.
Don't believe us? Check it out for yourself.
Traditionally, brides have worn white on their wedding day, stemming from almost 180 years ago when Queen Victoria herself chose a white silk-satin for her wedding, according to Time. Back then, it was an extremely unusual choice that broke the status quo.
You know what was conventional? Red.
Who knew returning to red was more in line with history after all? Even so, that doesn't seem to be the reason Von D and Seyer chose it.
"Red carnations are @prayers favourite flower, and the 3 represent him, me, and our sweet baby boy we are adding to our family," Kat Von D wrote on Instagram before the wedding. "All I can say right now is that i am so grateful for my dear friends, and for my sweet husband. ❤ Lastly, thank you all for all the love and for understanding that starting tomorrow we will most likely be stepping away from our phones for a while to be as present as possible on such a beautiful day. X."
We think Lydia Deetz would approve.
