Katy Perry is stripping down for a cause.
On Tuesday, aka National Voter Registration Day, the pop singer took to Twitter to show that she’s using her celebrity for good this election cycle. The 31-year-old Perry teamed up with Rock the Vote and Funny or Die on a funny, minutes-long video designed to encourage us all to register to vote, stat, and head to the polls on Nov. 8.
In the clip, a messy-haired, fresh-out-of-bed Perry heads to her local designated polling place in her pajamas as she boasts about the perks of not having to dress up for Election Day. “I’ve briefly scanned the Constitution and nowhere does it say you can’t just roll out of bed and come to the polls in whatever state you woke up in,” she tells the camera as she proceeds to highlight all of the approved “just-out-of-bed” looks you can wear when you go vote.
And while her words are probably enough to make you burst into a giggle, she manages to top herself by stripping down to her birthday suit to prove her point.
And based on the ending, the star isn’t the only one who sleeps in the buff. Click here to register to vote and watch Perry's funny video above.
