Ah, young love! With two children under the age of three and two busy careers, it's easy to image why Kelly Clarkson and her husband Brandon Blackstock could forget to celebrate their wedding anniversary. But this year, the too-cute pair remembered and decided to mark (quite literally) their third wedding anniversary with an old-school declaration of their love.
Clarkson, 34, shared a photo on Twitter of their mini celebration, that included carving their initials into the bark of a birch tree—just like a couple of childhood sweethearts.
"We got that young love.... Happy anniversary @BBlackstock. We remembered this year" tweeted alongside the snap.
Clarkson and Blackstock, a talent manager, were married in an intimate ceremony in Tenessee on Oct. 21, 2013.
The couple welcomed daughter River in June 2014 and son Remington in April 2016. Blackstock also has two kids, Seth and Savannah, from a previous marriage. Earlier this year, Clarkson opened up to Ryan Seacrest about how the stark differences between her own absentee father and her doting husband inspired her latest single, "Piece by Piece."

"Watching my husband love on his daughter all the time, you know, go to her events and just be there and, like, be present is, like, hard to watch, but beautiful to watch," Clarkson said. "But it's awesome because I know that my kids are going to have that."
