At long last, the day is here!
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry become man and wife on Saturday, May 19, and we’re poring over every possible detail.
As reported on Friday, Markle will break royal tradition in her vows (one of multiple ways she's breaking tradition), omitting the word “obey” from her speech.
Instead, her vows will read like this: “I Meghan, take you, Harry, to be my husband, to have and to hold from this day forward; for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death us do part; according to God’s holy law. In the presence of God I make this vow.”
Harry will deliver his vows before Meghan, reciting, “I Harry, take you, Meghan, to be my wife, to have and to hold from , this day forward; for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death us do part; according to God’s holy law. In the presence of God I make this vow.”
Ah, we’re already swooning!
