The One Bug Spray That Saved Olivia Wilde All Summer

Olivia Wilde is not going to let bugs ruin her summer fun.

Yesterday, the Vinyl actress took to Instagram to share a snap of her new favorite product—an all-natural bug spray by Brooklyn-based sustainable lifestyle brand Species by the Thousands ($18; speciesbythethousands.com). The insect repellent, made from essential oils including citronella, doesn't carry the chemical smell synonymous with other brands, rendering it ideal for sweltering hot days when body odor abounds.

"This shiz has saved me all summer, when I'm usually just an all-you-can-eat-mosquito-feasting-beast," Wilde wrote in the the caption. "Get it on you. Don't do the Deet. Just jojoba, cajeput, lavender, patchouli, citronella & vodka." Something tells us that the eco-friendly star, who recently fronted H&M's Conscious Collection campaign and helms Conscious Commerce, an ethically-focused creative agency, knows what she's talking about.
