Scout Willis Finally Explained Why Bruce Isn't Self-Isolating With His Wife

He's with his ex-wife Demi Moore in Idaho.

Modern families come in all shapes and sizes (lookin' at you, Gwyneth Paltrow), but aside from the striped pajamas and cute family snaps, people have been wondering why Bruce Willis isn't quarantining with his wife, Emma Heming Willis, and shacked up with his daughters and ex, Demi Moore, instead. Scout Willis explained the situation during an appearance on the Dopey podcast, saying that things with her parents are great and that the situation they're in wasn't the plan.

Scout told the show's host, Dave, that the original quarantine plan was to have Emma and her daughters, Mabel, 8, and Evelyn, 5, come to Idaho with the whole brood, but a last-minute medical emergency kept them in Los Angeles.

"It's been so funny because to me they're just like my super fucking weird parents, but to everyone else, they're at this different level," Scout said of followers' fascination with their living situation. She went on to say that her sister poked herself with a needle at a park and while Emma was waiting for lab results, travel just got too crazy.

"It's actually been really cool. My stepmom was supposed to come up here with my little sisters but my younger sister, who is now about to be [6] years old, at a park, had never gotten the talk about not fucking with hypothermic needles that she found so she actually tried to poke her shoe with it and poked her foot," Scout explained.

Scout told Dave that the family home in Hailey, Idaho, was where she and her sisters grew up. Bruce and Demi wanted to raise their kids away from L.A., Scout explained. She's staying positive about the whole thing, adding that things are "cute" and having her parents together again is great.

"It's been really funny to have both of my parents in the house where they raised us, which has been really cute," Scout said. "They're both such nerdy, adorable, '90s parents in a small town where they chose to have their kids and not be in L.A. It's been pretty cute."
