We were enamored with many TV shows this past year, but sadly only a handful got nominated for an Emmy. Among them: Girls, Mad Men, Nashville, Scandal, and The Good Wife. And interestingly, while we loved these shows for their fashion as much as the water-cooler chatter they produced the next day, not a single one was recognized for costume design! (Seriously, Nickelodeon's The Fresh Beat Band gets nominated but not Scandal's Olivia Pope? Not only did Kerry Washington kill it all season long, girlfriend always wore white while drinking red wine and never spilled a drop on herself. There should be an award for that.)
