Selena Gomez Took the Pinstripe Suit From Banker to Bombshell With a Bustier

Selena Gomez just took the classic pinstripe suit from banker to bombshell in ten seconds flat. On Friday, the singer-slash-actress attended the 2024 American Film Institute Awards in Los Angeles and put a sexy spin on the Wall Street wardrobe staple with a lingerie-like addition. 

For the daytime luncheon, Selena showed up on the red carpet dressed like she was ready to take on the boardroom wearing a black pinstripe suit that consisted of a double-breasted blazer, wide-leg trousers, and a bustier top underneath that was emphasized by a gold Versace belt. A pair of black pointed-toe heels peeked out from underneath her pant legs, while she finished off her look with gold hoops and a bouncy blowout with side-swept curls. 

As for glam, Gomez added a dusting of shimmery silver eyeshadow to her lids and a swipe of peach-colored lipstick. 

Selena caught up with fellow actress Emily Blunt inside the event, where the two poked fun at their viral lip-reading moments at the Golden Globes with a cheeky photo-op. ICYMI, Gomez was spotted allegedly gossiping with Taylor Swift about Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet during a commercial break, while Blunt and her husband John Krasinski faced divorce rumors after their exchange on the red carpet. In response, both women posed with their hands over their mouths as a playful reference to the recent buzz. 

Earlier this week, Gomez set the record straight on what she was talking about with Swift in a comment under an E! News Instagram post, writing: “Noooooo I told Taylor about two of my friends who hooked up. Not that that’s [anyone's] business." 

Blunt and Krasinki, meanwhile, have yet to address what exactly they said.
