While Shania Twain has long proven that she’s not afraid of a good hair change (see: bombshell blonde locks and Barbiecore-approved tresses), the country-slash-pop star just called on the longest and most vibrant look in her catalog when surprising fans on stage during the Austin City Limits music festival.

Over the weekend, the songstress took the stage in Texas alongside the Foo Fighters to close out the band’s set with a joint performance of “Best of You.” Pulling all of the stops, Twain donned a bright red waist-length wig (complete with blunt forehead bangs) for the occasion, which she’s worn regularly throughout the course of her Queen of Me Tour. Shania paired the colorful wig with all-sliver details comprised of a holographic, rhinestone-covered cowlneck top and matching rhinestone-embellished short-shorts, and she rounded out the look with glitzy cowboy boots and arm cuffs.

As for glam, the singer complemented her fun ‘do with an equally fun glam look that included a bronzy complexion, feathered lashes, and a bright red lip.

Shortly after the performance, Twain took to Instagram to recap her surprise appearance while thanking the Foo Fighters for allowing her to join.

“This was one off the bucket list for me! Firstly thank you to @foofighters for inviting me on stage - you are all so generous and ridiculously cool,” she captioned her post, which featured behind-the-scenes photos and clips from the performance. “I am a huge rock fan. My first band was a rock band, my first big producer was one of the worlds renowned rock producers, me and my son like to rock out 😂”

She continued, “Totally worth the adrenaline fuelled run from my stage to yours Dave Grohl - you are a true friend and talent ❤️”
