Just last weekend, Beyoncé landed in L.A. with a new hair color and an appropriately silver gown for the premiere of Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé. If the Beyhive thought that the epic movie would only get one red carpet event, they were wrong — and probably didn't expect Taylor Swift to arrive at the movie's second premiere in London. Today, the superstar supported her pal by arriving to the red carpet in a look that followed the Renaissance silver-only mandate and also paid homage to one of her own tunes, "Mirrorball."
Swift, who has been vocal about her love of Beyoncé in the past, wore a Balmain gown covered in sparkling silver sequins to the event on Thursday night. The show-stopping, flashbulb-ready dress featured a sky-high slit and a tank silhouette. Swift wore her blonde hair with a deep side part and Old Hollywood waves, finishing her glam with her signature red lipstick.
Back in October, Beyoncé attended the premiere of Swift's concert film — and, naturally, Swift documented the major moment on Instagram.
"I’m so glad I’ll never know what my life would’ve been like without @beyonce‘s influence. The way she’s taught me and every artist out here to break rules and defy industry norms," she wrote alongside the clip, which showed her and Bey in a movie theater. "Her generosity of spirit. Her resilience and versatility. She’s been a guiding light throughout my career and the fact that she showed up tonight was like an actual fairytale. 😇🙏🥹"
Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé arrives in theaters on Dec. 1.
