While Travis Kelce may not have been able to jet off to New York City to celebrate Taylor Swift’s 34th birthday last week (don’t worry, he still made his presence known via a stunning ring), it seems the sweet couple will make up for lost time by spending Christmas and New Year’s Eve with one another in the coming weeks.
According to a source for Page Six, both Swift and Kelce are planning on spending the most wonderful time of the year together in Kansas City this year. The alleged plans perfectly coordinate with the NFL star’s busy schedule, as the Kansas City Chiefs are scheduled to play at home against the Las Vegas Raiders on Dec. 25 and the Cincinnati Bengals on Dec. 31. While little is known about how the pair plans to spend the actual holidays — either with family or just as a couple — Taylor will “for sure be at the games,” per an insider for the outlet, and Travis will celebrate Christmas a day later due to his team’s game.
“My brother sent me a text and said he’s going to be celebrating afterwards,” Kelce recently told People about his brother, Jason Kelce’s plans before adding that he’ll likely do the same.
News of Traylor’s holiday plans comes just weeks after Us Weekly revealed that Kelce had already begun gathering gifts for his (somewhat new) flame back in November.
“Travis has already started Christmas shopping and has some really special surprises [for Taylor] in store,” a source told the outlet. “Their connection is off the charts, and they can’t wait to celebrate together.”
