The Crown is coming to an end, but not before Ed McVey and Meg Bellamy make their big debuts as Prince William and Kate Middleton. Today, the streamer teased the final episodes of the beloved and award-winning series, which closes with season 6, part 2. And, in keeping with the show's dedication to historical accuracy and giving viewers the behind-the-gates juicy details that they crave, one of the sneak peeks includes Kate's infamous see-through dress, which she wore during a student fashion show at St. Andrews University.

The image shows Bellamy's Kate flanked by two other amateur models and backlit in truly dramatic fashion. Her dress is decidedly see-through, with a strapless silhouette, super-short hemline, and visible underwear peeking out from underneath the sheer fabric. The runway show happened before the two moved in together and, well, the rest is history and also The Crown's version of history, which will be available to stream on Dec. 14.

Variety reports that the second half of the show's final season will deal with the fallout that came after Princess Diana's passing.

"Picking up in the aftermath of Princess Diana’s untimely death, the finale follows Prince William (McVey), as he tries to integrate back into life at Eton as the monarchy has to ride the wave of public opinion," the publication explains. "As she reaches her Golden Jubilee, the Queen (Imelda Staunton) reflects on the future of the monarchy with the marriage of Charles (Dominic West) and Camilla (Olivia Williams) and the beginnings of a new Royal fairytale in William and Kate (Bellamy)."
