Simply by gracing the Kansas City Chiefs and Chicago Bears game with her presence over the weekend, Taylor Swift managed to get the NFL to change its TikTok bio to "9/24/23. Taylor was here," she caused a maelstrom of publicity for the league and the specific game she attended (the Chiefs won 41-10), and managed to get in some face time with her rumored beau's mom. All this after Travis Kelce shot his shot? Not too bad. Well, the party didn't end after the final whistle. Entertainment Tonight reports that Kelce rented out an entire trendy Kansas City restaurant for the game's after-party and so that he could snag some quality time with Miss Americana herself.

An eyewitness explained, "Travis bought out the restaurant for his family and team. Taylor arrived, wearing a denim dress, and was seen snacking, having some cocktails, and dancing alongside Travis. The two were very affectionate with one another but kept things fun and lighthearted. Travis' teammates also showed up to the after-party, as well as his mom and dad, Donna and Ed. The party lasted until 2 a.m."

A second source shared even more — and offered up some tidbits about Kelce's not-so-subtle attempts at getting Swift's attention — saying, "Travis has never shied away from his desire to give dating with Taylor a try, which he even said during a press conference a few months ago after seeing Swift in concert. Travis and Taylor are taking things slowly, and not rushing into anything serious. Both are very career-focused, so the focus is on that for now, but that's not going to stop them from enjoying life when it's the right moment."

People also spoke to people close to the singer. They noted that fans of the new pair should temper their expectations, as things are still very new and both still in the "super, super early days" of getting to know one another (although Swift meeting Kelce's parents at the game certainly isn't nothing).

"They're having fun," an insider shared with the publication. "This was Taylor's first time meeting his mom and dad, and everyone was enjoying themselves. She was super-chill and low-key hanging out with his friends and family."

"They're just hanging out, and there's no pressure," the source finished.

Kelce famously invited Taylor to see him in action during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show.

"I've seen you rock the stage at Arrowhead [Stadium],” he said when the host asked him exactly what he'd said to Taylor. “You might have to come see me rock the stage at Arrowhead and see which one's a little more lit."
