Congratulations are in order for Vanessa Hudgens and Cole Tucker (let the record state that she snagged herself a beefcake before it was trendy), who tied the knot in Tulum and shared the details of the big day with Vogue. After her nuptials, she spoke to the publication about what she'd tell anyone planning their own ceremony and shared that when she saw Tucker standing at the altar, she almost "keeled over."

"[My advice to others is] don’t do first looks, because seeing each other at the altar for the first time is the most emotional moment of my life,” she said. “I literally keeled over when I saw Cole and had to take a big breath and had to force myself to keep walking, because I could have dropped to the floor."

Hudgens and Tucker officially tied the knot in Mexico on Dec. 2 after meeting during a virtual group meditation session hosted by Jay Shetty back in October 2020. Hudgens also offered other tidbits to future brides and grooms, saying that she recommends that everyone write their own vows.

“I would also say to everyone: Write your own vows and read them. It is the most beautiful thing ever in a relationship to be that open and vulnerable and raw in front of all of the people you love proclaiming your love," she said. "It’s just beautiful. I loved it.”

Hudgens also shared details of her engagement, telling Vogue that Tucker popping the question — and making for a truly romantic Parisian moment — in France was perfect. She was so swept up in the moment that she actually forgot that she sort of orchestrated the whole thing.

"It’s the most romantic city in the world,” Hudgens said of Paris. “[But,] I was very surprised. I dropped a hint that that would be the ideal place, but kind of forgot about it because I didn’t want to have any expectations on the trip. I just wanted to enjoy it for what it was, and he caught me completely off guard.”

The actress requested that her guests keep off their phones during the event, which explains why there weren't any leaks last weekend.

"It was amazing because at the dinner, I would look around and everyone was talking to each other — our family and friend groups coming together and creating real relationships that I know they’re going to invest real time into," she said of having everyone unplug. "Seeing that and bringing everyone together and celebrating us, it was just so magical. Literally talking about it right now, I’m getting teary-eyed. I couldn’t have dreamt it to be any better. I knew it was going to be magical, but it exceeded my expectations.”
