Over the weekend, several reports claimed that Taylor Swift would take the stage at this year's Grammy Awards, which are set to air on Sunday, Feb. 4, live from Los Angeles's Crypto.com Arena. However, Entertainment Tonight confirmed that Swift wouldn't actually be performing — but she is scheduled to make an appearance at the show. Swift's album Midnights is nominated for six awards at the 66th annual Grammy Awards. Midnights is up for Best Pop Vocal Album and Album of the Year, while Swift's track "Anti-Hero" is nominated for Song Of The Year, Record of the Year, and Best Pop Solo Performance. Swift is also nominated in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category for her song "Karma." To date, Swift has been nominated a total of 52 times and has won 12 Grammys.

After attending music's biggest night, Swift will jet off to Japan for the next leg of her Eras Tour. She found out about her six nominations while performing in Argentina in November 2023. She took a moment to thank her fans after the news broke — while she was mid-concert.

"The way you have supported my album, Midnights, it just got nominated for six Grammys," she said at her piano during the show. "You're the best."

According to the Recording Academy, Swift is the only female solo artist to win the Album of the Year Grammy three times for solo recordings. She won the award in 2009 for Fearless, in 2015 for 1989, and again in 2020 for Folklore. This year, she's up against SZA, Boygenius, Miley Cyrus, Jon Batiste, and Lana Del Rey in several categories, including the illustrious Album of the Year award.

This year's show, hosted by Trevor Noah, will air at 8 p.m. EST on CBS and Paramount+, specifically for viewers with the streamer's Showtime package.
