Congratulations are in order for Adam Driver and his wife Joanne Tucker. While appearing on an episode of Live with Kelly & Mark to promote his upcoming film, Ferrari, the actor confirmed that he and Tucker privately welcomed a baby girl eight months ago. And while it's been "Santa's wish" (in the words of co-host Kelly Ripa) come true, Driver opened up about some of the difficulties that come along with having a newborn at home.

"Yeah, yeah. I have an older son who is 6 and so she, now she's 8 months and you kind of forget how much babies kinda suck," he joked.

Mark Consuelos then asked Driver if he had been sleeping at all, to which the actor responded, "Not a lot, not a lot, not a lot."

"But I'm remembering this time that I have to enjoy it more," he continued. "This first time, it went too fast and I was so anxious for him to kind of develop so he could communicate and tell me what was wrong. And now I'm more patient with her. I'm trying to enjoy it more."

He added that he and his daughter also share a special bond that he didn't necessarily have with his son from the start. "She likes me more," he told Ripa and Consuelos, adding that his son "didn't want anything to do with me for the first three years."

People first confirmed the arrival of the newest member of the Driver-Tucker household earlier this month. Driver reportedly announced the news during the Saturday Night Live dress rehearsal when he hosted on Dec. 9, per Page Six. "Last year, I asked for a baby girl, and I got it, which is exhausting," he said during the practice run of his monologue. "So this year, I wish for Ambien!"

Driver and Tucker also share a 6-year-old son, the birth of whom he also coincidentally confirmed during his opening monologue on a 2020 episode of SNL.
