ICYMI, Andie MacDowell is taking Paris Fashion Week by storm. On Sunday, the actress strutted the runway during L’Oreal’s latest show, Le Défilé L'Oréal Paris - Walk Your Worth, while wearing a Matrix-inspired look that couldn’t have been more iconic, proving once and for all that she’s definitely still got it.
During the appearance, MacDowell hit the catwalk in a silky black bra top styled with nothing but a pair of high-waisted leather pants, a matching calf-skimming leather trench coat, and ankle-breaking holographic platform heels. The star, who’s long embraced her natural gray curls, wore her voluminous hair down with a deep side part, and she rounded out her glam with a dark smoky eye and a mauve lip (courtesy of L’Oreal, of course).
After stomping down the runway on her own, Andie eventually joined the likes of Helen Mirren and Elle Fanning — who walked hand-in-hand while wearing a glitzy, off-the-shoulder sequin gown and a dramatic gold cowl neck dress, respectively — and Kendall Jenner, who wore a head-turning silver dress complete with a subtle plunging lace-up neckline, for one last jaunt down the stage.
Although this isn’t the first time that we’ve seen the actress rock her now-signature gray hair during a high-profile outing (she first started sporting her natural silver back in 2020), it comes shortly after she opened up about her decision to go fully gray when talking to Allure earlier this year.
“How old do you think I look? I'm going to be 65. What do you think, I look 75 just because I let my hair go gray? I don’t care. I want to be old. I’m tired of trying to be young. I don’t want to be young. I’ve been young,” she shared. “And to be an older person trying to be young, what an effort. I just can't keep up the charade! I can't!”
