As if we needed further proof that Megan Fox’s style marches to the beat of its own drum, the actress just stepped out at this year’s GQ Men of the Year party while swapping a classic LBD for something lighter, brighter, and a whole lot sexier
On Thursday, Fox arrived at the star-studded event’s red carpet hand-in-hand with her fiancé, Machine Gun Kelly. Opting to skip the winter uniform of all-black everything during the outing, the actress sported an optic white minidress that featured a plunging V-neckline, a waist-cinching corset, and an asymmetrical skirt complete with a sky-high leg slit. A holographic silver handbag and totally see-through pointy-toe heels (which revealed a cherry-colored pedicure) accessorized the A-lister’s ensemble, and she wore her fiery red bob down in beachy waves with a middle part.
As for glam, Megan complemented her ‘fit with bold brows, a glowing complexion, and a matte mauve lip. For his part, Kelly (born Colson Baker) gave a very different energy in an oversized black leather trench coat, matching leather pants, and stacks of silver necklaces.
While Fox and Kelly have been engaged since Jan. 2022, their most recent outing comes shortly after the actress revealed that she used to be “addicted to falling in love” with her co-stars during an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show.
“When I was young, I was really rebellious and wild and was always running away to fall in love with a new love, every costar," she told Barrymore, explaining that she was very much a "free spirit” at the time. "I was addicted to falling in love, and I think I probably hurt a lot of people in that process too, because a lot of people have been in love with me and I did not respect or honor that.”
Megan then explained that a shift finally occurred once she had her three sons, whom she shares with her ex-husband Brian Austin Green. “When I had kids, something happened in me," she shared. "... I think it’s a major part of my soul’s journey in this lifetime to not repeat my parents’ pattern with my kids, and I was always very aware of that, so this selfless person was born when I birthed my first child.”
